Course Structure: 1 time a week, 90 min.
Goals of this class are to obtain the ability to use Unix utilizing basic knowledge and fundamental techniques, e.g, large data analysis, numerical analysis and a part of the basic management of Unix as an intermediate level user. Classes are composed of lectures and exercises using common Unix CUI. This class is suitable for students who are studying and researching using computers well, e.g. to obtain numerical solutions.Course Expectations: To a certain extent, students will need a background in general computer concepts.Recommended: Computational Mathematics II in the 2nd semester will be useful.
