Course Description

Quantum structures, such as quantum wells, quantum wires and quantum dots, of III-V compound semiconductors, which are typically grown by molecular beam epitaxy, are widely used in semiconductor devices. Crystal growth of the quantum structures and their electronic and optical properties are discussed in this lecture.
