Description

ex-President of Osaka University, Kiyokazu Washida gave a lecture titled “what is it to be well-educated?” at the 2nd meeting of students and teachers held on December 19th, 2008

The video message can be found by clicking “Course note”.

 This video introduces Mr. Washida’s profound ideas for liberal arts education.  For example, he says it is important to have a perspective on value, or in other words, to weigh the importance of things appropriately, and this requires the internalization of wide vision.
